Pay for Dues & Classes

Welcome to the PAPCG store. Dues run from September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010. Any Dues paid now are good through August 2010. If you don't see a class you are looking be sure it has been posted (this will be noted on the home page.) Registrations are usually posted within 6 weeks of the scheduled class. Sold out classes no longer appear, however, you are welcome to use the contact form to ask to be placed on a waiting list.

In this two-day workshop, participants will learn several versatile techniques which build upon one another. The techniques, taught over the course of two days, can be used in a multitude of applications such as coverings for utensils or pens, in making jewelry, flat art for paper crafting, etc. This workshop is for the advanced beginner and beyond. Participants should bring their own pasta machine and know how to condition clay with a pasta machine, as well as use basic tools, like cutting blades, rollers etc. This workshop has been praised by clayers of all levels of expertise as Mona generously shares her tips and tricks to refine your artwork. Come learn from this ingenious artist who, with her inventor husband, developed the Monafied Pasta Machine and the Persuader! (www.monakissel.com check out the Tools) The goal of the workshop is for the participants to refine their design and finishing knowledge and to acquire a plethora of interesting and easy techniques for unlimited clay exploration and design possibilities. This class has received rave reviews, and we are delighted to offer it to the Philadelphia Area. Topics Mona will cover include: Refined Skinner Blends (including Mona’s famous “tight blend”), Simple Mokume Gane,, crazing and crackling, applying cane slices seamlessly, no-sand cornstarch finish techniques, applying decorated sheets professionally to cover metal utensils, Mona’s Satin Swirl Beads and the elegant “Rocking Beads.” As you can see there will be two full days of intense instruction.
